Autumn has arrived

I have decided anyone that doesn't claim fall as their favorite season, hasn't experienced a gorgeous Utah autumn.
So many things that I love about this season.
The wardrobe choices are unlimited: jackets, boots, scarfs, hoodies, t-shirts.
The weather allows you to be outside during the day but when you take a deep breath at night it gives a burning sensation in your nose. (one of my favorite things ever)
The Carmel Apple Ciders.
Utah games.
Haunted houses.
The list could go on forever.
There really isn't anything about fall that I dislike, except for the fact that it does not last nearly long enough.

I was lucky enough to spend this last weekend up at Tyler's cabin in Timber Lakes.
Gorgeous.
I was there about a month again and the mountains were just starting to change colors.
When I saw the mountain below in the morning I was shocked.
I couldn't believe how much it changed from just a few weeks ago.
My only wish for the day was to go over and be in the "burning leaves".
Tyler did not disappoint me.

After I finished up some work, we headed to town to grab some lunch
from the one and only, Dairy Keen.
(If you don't know what that is... you need to google and go!)
There we actually found out that it was the local high schools Homecoming Parade.
We watched it for a bit and then grabbed some food.
The best surprise of the day was running into my dear friend, Kristen.
I miss her dearly and was so happy to run into here.

After lunch we ran a couple of errands and headed back to the cabin.
We were getting closer to the cabin and I was just staring at the mountain.
Tyler turned off to see if we could find a road to go over there.
We didn't have much luck.
But he wasn't done trying yet.
We went back and got the 4-wheeler and went and explored.

We would get so close to finding a way over to the "burning mountain" (that's what I kept referring to it as)
But we couldn't quite get all the way over there.

We drove around for quite a while.
Ready to end our adventure;
Until we stumbled across this hidden little treasure.
And behind here was a grove of pink leaves.
I never in my life have seen anything like it.
I immediately said, "I wanted to go lay down in there."
Luckily Tyler didn't look at me like I was crazy and laid right down with me.

 So incredibly beautiful.

It is moments like this that you really have to stop and appreciate.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the things and people I have been blessed with in my life.
Especially people.
Tyler being one of those people.
I do not believe in accidents.
It was not by chance that we were brought into each other lives at this time.
(If you are thinking... "Finally, Morgan has a boyfriend!" Don't get ahead of yourself.  I have the world's best friend)
Many times I feel like he is my right hand and always counting down until M&T time begins.
When Tyler is involved a good time is guaranteed.
I am thankful for the laughs, support, silence, honesty and love given to each other.
Grateful for another wonderful person brought into my life
and even more thankful that we can be 100% ourselves with each other.
People like this come around far and few... and I have every intention is keeping him around for as long as I possibly can and thankfully he agrees.
This afternoon is one that I will remember for a long, long time.

Side note:
As I look back at old posts, the ones that mean the most are the ones that I actually document what I am thinking rather than just what I did... So excuse the sentimental thoughts at times.
It is for me.
I have stopped keeping a journal journal and basically use this.

A night with my lover

Have I ever told you that I love Keith Urban?  I'm pretty sure I have  here... but really anyone that knows much about me knows that I love Keith Urban!

So naturally when my sister and I checked his lastest tour and realized he was not making a stop in Salt Lake City we had to take matters into our own hands.  We decided to plan a trip to Denver and see my lover.
Jenn was nice enough to join me in our crazy adventure and was along for the ride!  What a good sissy!

It was fun to go to dinner with two of my sissy's and RD.  We had a great time in Denver and at the concert!
Now, let me tell you.  I have seen him in Denver a couple of times now and he is great.  This was my seventh Keith concert and he still suprises me with what an amazing show he does.  He is here, there and everywhere.  He knows how to make everyone feel like there are on the front row.

Speaking of row, thanks for my sister Julie being one of the biggest fans ever she is apart of the pre-sale and last December they offered a Christmas (pre) pre-sale.  So we jumped on that opportunity and got our tickets.  Best decision ever.  Julie and RD decided not to be on the floor, which they ended up on row 1 on the side right next to a small platform which Keith and his band members performed on.  Jennifer and I opted (well me really) opted for the floor seats.  I have never sat on the floor for one of his concerts and it was a great idea.  He was out an about ont the floor quite a bit.  We were row 14 center.  Half way through his concert he had a small platform on row 20 right behind me.  Now let's do the math.  Morgan is on row 14... Keith is performing on row 20.  that makes Morgan 6 rows away from him.  AAAAHHH!!  I was in heaven (and may have fallen off my chair)

6 rows away from me, my friends!  SO SO CLOSE!

Fun times with my sissy!

So near the end of the show, Keith started playing "You look good in my shirt" and started walking the back of the arena.  He just kept going back and back and ended up at the very back of the arena.  People were surrounding him  (picture below is show 3 empty sections because they are all surrounding him)  He sat and played the rest of the song in the back and then took out a marker, signed his guitar and hands it to a girl in the audience.  Are you kidding me?  Who does that.
You can see on the screen the lucky girl that received a signed guitar from my lover!

It was another FANASTIC concert and it was almost 3 hours of heaven.
Keith come to Utah soon!
This girl loves you.

Once again... It's Great to be a UTE!

Football season is here and my Utes are making me proud.
Typically, the much anticipated Utah vs. BYU game, is the last of the season.
But thanks to the Utes going to the Pac12 and BYU going independent it was moved up earlier this year.  (my frozen legs would have great appreciated that move last year as we were standing in snow)
There is always a lot of hype on this game and people's ugly side comes out.  After my experience going to the Cougar stadium 2 years ago, I decided I was better staying in SLC.  Now, after seeing the results  I wish I would have been there.
The final score was 54 - 10 Utah
Talk about embarrassing!  This was this highest all time rivarly game since 1988!  Way to go, Utes!

In honor of rivarly week I decided to play a prank on my brother, Matt.  He is a BYU season ticket holder and loves the Cougars. The day before the game I thought I would have a little fun with him and put his tickets for the game up for sell.  Needless to say in 23 minutes the ad had over 68 views and his phone was ringing off the hook!
My only reply to him... was GO UTES!

I enjoyed watching the game with Ashley and Blake.  By the middle of the third quarter we were ALL laughing so hard at the amount of turnovers and how the Cougars just weren't playing.  I'm glad it was their team and not ours that did that!  My sister, Natalie and I kept calling my Mom during the game to talk about her teams poor performance.  My last call, she answered the phone, "... you better be nice or I'm just hanging up the phone!"  I could hardly hang up the phone before I was calling her again!  My mom sure is a good sport with me and Natalie!
Even though the game did not have quite as an exciting ending as last year!  It was a fun game to watch!
I'm proud to wear RED!
I am a UTE!
